We are a finance consultancy primarily serving the architect-developers in the real estate development industry. With our data-driven approach, Studio Finance introduces an innovative financial modeling methodology that assists the decision making on development opportunities. By leveraging technology, our modeling capability leads to more design flexibility and faster development turnarounds.


Studio Finance was founded in 2019 with a simple aspiration of seeing more design-driven real estate developments being built in our communities. The vision has led to the creation of Studio Finance's business model, which aims to assist and promote the emerging practice of designing and developing by architect-developers.


Alan Cheng


Alan is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance. Since graduation in 2016, Alan has worked in a variety of areas within the financial service industry, including treasury, corporate FP&A, and strategic finance, where he acquired and strengthened his technical and analytical skills. While running his own consultancy, Alan is currently a Senior Financial Analyst working in one of the Fortune 100 companies, with his main focus on transforming financial models and streamlining budgeting and forecasting processes.

Born in Taiwan, Alan has spent his adolescence life in Taipei and Beijing before he moved to Austin, Texas to pursuit the study of the English language as his second language. He is a pool enthusiast and has played billiards competitively in college.

Jessie Ho

Architectural Specialist

Jessie is an architectural designer, currently working in a local architecture firm in Austin, Texas. With more than five years of professional experience, Jessie has been exposed to projects ranging from large-scale master planning to small-scale residential design; in addition, she has worked in cross-disciplinary areas in cities including Taipei, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Austin. Jessie earned the degree of Master of Science in Urban Design from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017; prior to that, she received her undergraduate degree from Southeast University in China with a major in urban planning.

Jessie was born in Taiwan and later moved to Shanghai in her childhood. She is a coffee lover and enjoys cooking in her free time.
